Ground staff

Ground staff training, recurrent training, confirmation/recovery and refresher training are conducted due to the following educational programs:

1. Ground administration and control

Training for air company personnel, airports, handling companies that provides ground administration and air services control in accordance with established certification requirements is conducting regarding: Load Control, Creating and sending of loading and movement messages, Maintenance, storage and administration of standard packaging , Ground handling control, Basics of ground handling services for management and administrative staff, Emergency response measures on ground handling, Regulations of passenger and baggage handling, Regulations of cargo and mail handling

2. Passenger handling

Training for air company personnel, airports, handling companies that provides direct passenger handling and its managing and monitoring in accordance with established certification requirements is conducting regarding: Basics of passenger and baggage handling, Handling of transportation documents, Passenger and baggage handling (check-in, embarkation, disembarkation), Handling of transfer and transit passengers, Lost and Found servises, Handling of special categories of passengers, Passenger handling during inconsistencies with flights, Immigration and visa verification, Dangerous goods in cabin baggage, Ammunition transportation by passengers

3. Aircraft handling

Training for air company personnel, airports, handling companies that provides direct aircraft handling and its managing and monitoring in accordance with established certification requirements is conducting regarding: Interior and exterior cleaning, Toilet and water services, Cooling and heating operation, De/Anti-icing

4. Ramp handling

Training for air company personnel, airports, handling companies that provides direct ramp handling and its managing and monitoring in accordance with established certification requirements is conducting regarding: Aircraft types and its servicing, Operating of aircraft doors, Parking of Aircraft, Ramp to flight deck communication, Aircraft loading and unloading, Loading / unloading control, Passenger bridge operating, Air starter operation, Aircraft ground movement coordination, Push back operating, Catering ramp handling.

5. Baggage handling on departure and arrival

There are Issues on air legislation, aviation security, fireworthiness, job safety, human factor, behavior psychology and others within personnel competence in accordance with fulfilling their commitmens that are being studied separately.
Senior managers of the Ground handling companies, Heads of the structural operating departments, Shift supervisors, Operating departments’ personnel should complete compulsory training in the certificated education institutions in ground handling due to the order №118 from 26.02.2013 of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in accordance with current requirements of national laws and regulations and international standards in the area of air transport.

The scheduled training frequency should be at least once in three years except for some types of training the frequency of which is governed by certain rules.
